allora, ho comminciato il mio lavoro oggi! i met two people from vicino di balogna and they took me around all day, told me what to do, took me out to lunch, etc etc. claudia asked english? italiano? and i said vorrei practicare l'italiano, per farvore. and so they did! we spoke italian for all 9 hours i worked! it was fabulous. the new exhibit we put together is solo di Pablo Echaurren. his father Sebastian Matta was a surrealist artist and his mother an attrice. he is incredible. he has been important in italian history, he writes, paints, and sculpts. che bravo. i loved it! they were all so friendly and kind. roberto, the old maintenance man, loves me i think. he kept making up songs with my name. ilary, ilary, oooh ilary. twas funny. i have a little crush on giuseppe. he's a big guy with pretty eyes. he explains the things that roberto says too fast in his toscanan dialect. its great. i loved working today!
