October 5

Today we slept for 12 hours (I guess we needed it) and first thing we explored Luxembourg gardens. It was gorgeous with a live orchestra and a pond with ducks and kids sailing boats and trees and a palace. Trees and paths that went in all directions and looked enchanting.
We went to the Eiffel Tower and bought Nutella covered waffles and parisian sandwiches. We walked around the park and soaked in Paris. We laid in park and walked down the paths. It was the perfect temperature and every street seems like it's covered in chestnut trees.
We spent the evening at the Pompidou Center - they had some awesome Louis Bourgeouis works that I've been looking at and had no idea they were here! And a cool Roy Lichtenstein exhibit. We got kebabs and found some Paris night life happening in the neighborhoods near the Pompidou. I want to live here.
