October 3, 2013

Today we slept in, did laundry, and we went to the Tate Modern before lunch. The first room we went into was full of Surrealist and Dada art and it was our favorite. The Donald Judd was humongous. The view outside from the windows, including the millennium Bridge and the view of St. Paul's Cathedral, was just as good as any of the art. There was a light rain and gray skies but it was still very lovely. We had Thai food for lunch, walked to St. Paul's Cathedral, and took the tube to the British Museum. We mostly just went for the Parthenon statues. Afterwords, we printed our boarding passes for the rest of the trip, then went to the Tower of London and the tower Bridge, which was way better than the London Bridge, where we went out for dinner at Le Pain Quotidiene. After dinner we went to see you Big Ben, the parliament building, Westminster Abbey, and walked around downtown in the rain.
