shake it off

sooooo, i've spent the last 3 days at kara's apartment and not at home. don't worry, i told zia. she said i had abandoned her, but was laughing and joking. the first night kara and i decided on a whim to go to a symphony. the sydney orchestra was playing at a church (which are all medieval and gorgeous). so we paid our student price of 6 euros, got all fancied up, and went around 9. it was spectacular. the conductor flailed his arms like a mad man or octopus. and the symphony was incredible. you didn't want to breathe sometimes for fear of making more noise than they were. marvelous. i wanted mom to be there.

before the show started we found a nearby park where we slid on the wet slide in our heels and some turtles to rock around on. finally a friend like me! so needless to say we pushed the beds in her room together and we've been shopping, eating, making food, painting nails, making jokes, out clubbing, making up questions to ask italian boys (just the ones we think are cute), giving out our numbers to a select few, and watching italian mtv and eating cheerios. now it's conference though, so my weekend here is ending.

i really wish the savannah kids weren't leaving in a matter of days. but i'm planning a trip to georgia to visit them.
