girlfriend has already been in my life for four months. i can hardly believe it's already june and summer and my newborn is a significantly larger baby.
she is in 80th percentile for height, 24th for weight
she sleeps between 7.5-9.5 hours each night
she will sleep through loud concerts, movies, noises, etc., if someone is holding her
she loves ceiling lights, car lights, and any bright screen (she was captivated through Captain America and X-Men)
she loves to be sitting, or standing up
she likes to be doing what you're doing and facing the way you're facing
she doesn't love being strapped into her car seat
she will look to find whoever is speaking, or where a noise is coming from
she laughs and giggles when i laugh or blow raspberries on her hands and feet
she loves being in the bath and shows it by moving all of her limbs (and splashing)
she gets excited when her diaper is off and she has great face-to-face time with me or todd
she started grabbing and holding onto things this past month (this week she began grabbing my hair...i was waiting for that one) and she tries to bring them to her mouth
she has rolled from front to back thrice
without her diaper she rolls from her back to her side constantly by lifting her legs and butt and sort of falling to one side
she talks/sings/yells to music, plays, movies, and other people's liveliness
she is so pleasant to be around. i found myself in the mother's lounge today for forty-five extra minutes just so i could stare at her face, make her smile, and snuggle her by myself in the quiet. i knew that if i went to back to primary someone would want to hold her and i never really hold her during sacrament meeting because that's nana's, or riley's, or annie's, or chase's, or someone else's time to hold her and designated todd and hillary cuddlefest. i've found it's the only guaranteed time during the week that todd and i have no phones, no distractions, and a million people to care for reggie, so it's so nice to really side-hug hard for an hour and fifteen minutes.
i can see the person in her more and more. she seems calm and happy. i think she is smart and trusts todd and i to care for her needs. she really isn't fussy except when she's fighting sleep in the late evenings. sometimes when i make her smile she'll get a coy smile and then turn her head away and most people would describe that action as being "shy." she is only four months old, but it seems like she's is playing with me.
i could go on forever. i truly just adore her.

I love hearing these things.
She's so sweet! Wish you lived here in Rexburg so we could hangout more! They grow way WAY too fast! I feel like Blayke is still this old :(
p.s. That picture of you two is so pretty!
