Annie is Chase's girlfriend. She is living at my parents' house and working at the jewelry store with me for the summer. I adore her. I am so glad I've been able to get to know her by myself when we're alone and the store is slow. She's funny and sweet and kind and beautiful and a lot like Chase. Last night she and I drove to her home/g-ma's home in Swan Valley. The house has a big green lawn, a great big vegetable garden, raspberries, and a chicken coop. Annie, a few of her cousins and I rode horses up the butte beside the house.
The weather was cold, the clouds were dark with bright patches of the sunset in the sky peeked through. It was incredible. It didn't rain until we got to the top and could see the Snake River reflect the sunlight. My horse was gorgeous, red, tall and easy to control. The view was breathtaking with the bright bright sun setting behind the mountains juxtaposed with the dark wispy rain clouds.
I've never loved Idaho so much.
